The prices of the Tata Altroz have been hiked by up to Rs 20,400. The hatchback now retails from Rs 5.80 lakh to Rs 9.56 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices of the base-spec diesel XE remain unchanged.

Price

The price of Tata Altroz starts at Rs. 5.79 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 9.55 Lakh. The price of petrol variant of Altroz ranges between Rs. 5.79 Lakh to Rs. 9.05 Lakh. The prices of Altroz diesel variants start at Rs. 6.99 Lakh and the top-end diesel is priced at Rs. 9.55 Lakh. Tata Altroz is available in 18 variants and 5 different colours.

Specification

Tata offers the Altroz with three engine options: a new 110PS/140Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 86PS/113Nm 1.2-litre petrol, and a 90PS/200Nm 1.5-litre diesel unit. Transmission options include a standard 5-speed manual gearbox, however, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission could be added later to the i-Turbo variants. The naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engines get ARAI-claimed mileage of 19.05kmpl and 25.11kmpl. The Altroz i-Turbo is capable of doing the 0-100kmph sprint in 11.9 seconds with a claimed efficiency of 18.13kmpl.

Variants

Tata offers the Altroz in six broad variants: XE, XM, XM+ (petrol-only), XT, XZ, XZ (O), and the new XZ+.

The hatchback gets a total of five colour options: a new Harbour Blue, High Street Gold, Midtown Grey, Downtown Red and Avenue White. The Silver shade has been discontinued.

Features

The Tata Altroz comes features iRA connected car tech, a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Harman sound system, Hinglish voice commands, climate control, rear 12V power outlet, wearable key, height-adjustable driver seat, and tilt steering. Safety is covered by auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors with a rear camera.
