Hyundai has upped the prices of the Verna by up to Rs 14,000 across all variants. The updated pricing now ranges from Rs 9.20 lakh to Rs 15.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Price
The price of Hyundai Verna starts at Rs. 9.19 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 15.25 Lakh. The price of petrol variant of Verna ranges between Rs. 9.19 Lakh to Rs. 14.14 Lakh. The prices of Verna diesel variants start at Rs. 10.81 Lakh and the top-end diesel is priced at Rs. 15.25 Lakh. Hyundai Verna is available in 12 variants and 6 different colours.
Specifications
There are three engines on offer: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Their power and torque outputs are 115PS-145Nm, 115PS-250Nm, and 120PS-172Nm, respectively. While the turbo-petrol is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, the 1.5-litre engines offer 6-speed manual transmissions as standard. The NA petrol is available with a CVT and the diesel with a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Fuel economy is rated by ARAI at 17.7kmpl for the NA petrol-manual, 18.45kmpl for the CVT, 25kmpl for the diesel-manual, 21.3kmpl for the torque converter, and 19.2kmpl for the turbo petrol.
Variants
The Verna will be available in five variants: E, S, S+, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Turbo. The S is petrol-manual only, while the S+ is diesel-manual. If you want the turbo, you’ll have to spend a premium for the top-spec SX(O) variant.
Six colours are on offer -- Phantom Black, Polar White, Starry Night, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, and Fiery Red.
Features
The Verna is equipped with LED headlights and fog lamps, LED tail lamps, electrically folding outer rearview mirrors, and a new alloy wheel design. Other features include a digital instrument cluster, rear disc brakes, wireless phone charging, Hyundai BlueLink infotainment system, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and ventilated seats. Hyundai has equipped the Verna with six airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, and reversing camera.
